The exhibition was the result of the 2017 Roots Project residency, which took place in Berlin. The residency had a final exhibition at which the Catena organization selected two artists (Vasyl Savchenko, Uliana Kulchytskaya) for the creation of an exhibition at the Pigment Gallery in the Miramar Hotel in Barcelona. Despite the exhibition, Barcelona became a two-week residency for the artists.
